Hearty congratulations to Magic Dave of
Biggleswade, the winner of our illustrious Old Glory/Thunder
competition, he found the correct tee shirt at
www.oldgloryonlinestore.com and recognised the Thunder
video, his magical powers are obviously working very well. A bag
of goodies will be despatched forthwith.
There is also a runner up prize of a beautiful Old Glory tee
shirt that goes to Simon Walker of Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

MiiWiiWORLD.COM - CREATE YOUR OWN THUNDER Mii
AND WIN A THUNDER GOODY BAG!
As some of you may know the latest craze in the video game world
is the Nintendo Wii console. Those of you lucky enough to be
able to get your hands on one will have already experienced the
revolutionary next generation in gaming. You'll also know that
the Wii system allows your to create your own little Mii
characters that you can play the games with.
MiiWiiWorld.com is a website dedicated to these Miis and
indeed all things Wii. Their main ambition is to be the biggest
online collection of Mii anywhere in the world, eventually being
the first place to home a million of them!
So what does this have to do with Thunder? Good question. Those
nice folks at
MiiWiiWorld.com have given you lucky Thunder fans your very
own "stand" at the Miillenium Stadium where you can post your
own Mii characters - they can be based on yourself, maybe do
your own version of a member of the band, or any bizarre
creation you like. The more artistic of you may want to mess
around in Photoshop and create your own versions of Thunder
album covers or photos with the Mii characters - whatever you
like! It's all just a bit of fun. We will also be posting some
promotional images from Thunder Online, such as albums and Miis
wearing Thunder Merchandise, but we definitely need your help to
fill up the Thunder stand.
As it's a new thing, hopefully by being involved at an early
stage, we could attract a lot of new visitors to the Thunder
site, and therefore potential fans, so whilst it's fun, it could
also be helping us out considerably. To create and post your
Miis please visit the link below and get creating!! (you will
need to register on the
MiiWiiWorld.com forums in order to post your Miis - full
instructions posted on their site).
Once the Thunder stand is full we will send a truly fab and
groovy Thunder Goodie bag to the person that creates our
favourite Mii!
The Thin Mii Competition
You'll have noticed I am slightly pre-occupied with a
certain small oval baby chicken delivery carrier. Here's a
little competition-ette for you. Send us 150 words or so about
Thunder and the new EP, and mention the egg word and all its
connotations and permutations in as many ways or as many times
as you like. The more creative and whacky the better but it must
make sense, and keep it clean if you want to win. 5 winners will
be chosen and each will receive a personally dedicated and
signed advance copy on CDR (these are the ones we send out
before the factory ones arrive). These are created on the sweat
driven machines here at Thunder Towers and are individually
numbered to deter DJs from selling them. Winners will get
numbers 1 through 5 (1 being the one the band liked the best
etc).
