Notes:
- Thunder opened the show with Loser, River Of
Pain, Love Walked In and I Love You More Than
Rock 'n' Roll.
- Thunder formed the backbone of the band in the
second half, and various singers and players came on and
off for different songs (see full 2nd half set list
below).
- Bob Harris was magnificent and MC'd the
evening. Everyone, artists and audience fully embraced
the spirit of the evening, and the finale was splendid.
- Glenn Hughes and Ian Paice of Deep
Purple were on stage together again for the first time
in 32 years!
- The auction afterwards was incredible, with
various items raising loads of money. Noel Gallagher's
guitar sold for £10,000 and a Jimmy Page
guitar went for a stunning £25,000 big ones. A
very nice (but clearly insane) man from Edinburgh paid
£4,000 to have Thunder play an "up close and
personal" acoustic show in his office.
